This app has worked for a long time for me with no problems. Updates have always improved my experience. Only wish it could store more coins like Litecoin.
Ive used lots of various bitcoin wallets in the past, but breadwallet is now my go-to. Super clean and simple. I use it to introduce new people to bitcoin and toss them a few bits. Mad love and respect to the breadwallet dev team.
By far and large this is the single best Bitcoin wallet on the iOS store, seriously. Most importantly: THIS IS NOT A WEB WALLET! It is a dedicated wallet application for iOS. Your BTC are safe and secured on your device! Easily the most secure of the iOS wallets by leaps. You have FULL control of your money, and YOU are responsible for it. Much safer for storing your Bitcoin than web wallets like Blockchain or Coinbase for iOS. Additionally, the interface is very user friendly and quick to use. Would recommend this to anyone and everyone who uses an iPhone as well as owns BTC!
This is definitely the best Bitcoin wallet on iPhone. You are in full control of your money and it is even secured in case of full device failure (eg loss, theft, swimming pool). And to boot it makes Bitcoin accessible to us non tech folks. Definitely give it a try. Just wish I could purchase Bitcoin in the app!

fast and reliable wallet. in my opinion, to be perfect it only need to support changing display from bits to real btc.

Some bad moments

It has button "remind me later" on key phrase and Touch ID support. But in some reason ask my pin. I forgot it and cant try more variations.
-New Review- The app is stuck on syncing and will not send money. It has been broken for about a month. I have hundreds of dollars in funds I cant use. Fix it now! -Old Review- This app finally works great and is reliable. Thank you for fixing the send issues. Keep the app fresh and working great! -Older review- Constantly getting mixed information after sending payments. Some times the transaction gets returned, yet the merchant says the payment went through. It is constantly timing out. You never know if a payment goes through.
It should allow users to take screenshots of their key. Since it doesnt youve gotta use another device to take a picture of yours to store this key or print it. Please stop telling me how to manage my security. Thanks.
This wallet must be boycotted because the developers of it are attempting to force new "features" on the Bitcoin community that destroy your privacy. You can find details by checking out Proposal BIP75. They must not be allowed to get away with this.
Used to be the best iOS Bitcoin wallet. I recommended it to everyone I know, but now Im jumping ship to Airbitz, due to the debilitating issues that are currently plaguing breadwallet (as of one month ago). I am still experiencing extremely slow syncing, Im sitting here stuck at 92% after FORTY minutes of syncing. This is unacceptable as it makes this wallet unusable. Bitcoin will never reach mass adoption if it takes a literal hour to open your wallet. Devs, I dont know what you did, but you have totally incapacitated what used to be the best iOS wallet.
Dont transfer into this app, they will jack you for 1%. Total rip other comparable wallets are cheaper to use. This one is a total rip!!!
